...COME ON DOWN! You are the winner of my heART giveaway! Congratulations!!!!
I have a lovely little pack of ephemera from my stash put together JUST for you! Oh boy! I hope you like it!!!!
Okay, so you have to know something about me. After I pulled Marlene's name out of the cup, there were still names in it! That made me sad (insert sad face).
I completely appreciate everyone who posted a comment! What sweethearts you are!!! And so to me, that makes you a winner!!!! :-)
So here's what I'm going to do....remember these little ephemera packs I made as trades for Art and Soul last October? They're just silly little guys. I still have several left and so...if you would like, I will would be very happy to send you one! To get one, all you have to do is use the link under my face and send me your address. Isn't February the month of LOVE!!!!????
I want to say THANK YOU to everyone for playing! It was fun fun fun and I want to give a shout out to Miss Arttealife for gettin' this party started! (Oh no she di'ent just say that?!) It has been a delight getting to "meet" some new bloggy buds!
So here's a VERY cool thing I discovered through this little giveaway...a man named was Marty Weil who has a blog about ephemera. And, people, I'm talking REAL ephemera. Real ephemera! Vintage ephemera! Man, I love that stuff! I will be adding a link to his on my side bar. His blog very cool. Lots of links and some awesome interviews!
Oh also, Tricia had asked about the book in one of the pictures I shared so I wanted to show that to you. I don't think I ever got around to showing this sweet little find to you. Probably because I'm a bit embarrassed by how much I paid for it. But I found myself in one of those "gotta have it" moments and just couldn't walk away.
This is the diary a woman named Mary that she kept 1939 through 1943. This, my friends, is the kind of stuff that makes my heart skip a beat. I haven't read through it yet but it appears to be about farm life in Kansas during the war. I paid $20 for it. I was thinking someday I'd like to transcribe it and incorporate it into some kind of project.
I had fun at Art House last night. I got three LOs done! Oh, and while I was at Art House, I got to see the Love, Elsie book that scrapbook stores order from! I am over the moon with how cute her stuff is!
Okay, I'm off to play and enjoy this "stay inside" kind of day. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, my sweethearts!
