Happy Thanksgiving

Hi there...

Just wanted to pop in and wish you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!

Things are gonna be pretty quiet here. Miranda was living in Hawaii last year at this time so we're all looking forward to spending lots of quality time together. We have a few things planned but mostly there will just be lots of visiting with family, friends, and lots of eating!

I got our pies baked tonight...

   

In addition to our pies, we'll also be roasting chestnuts. Love 'em!

 

Here's our menu for today's meal(s)...

• Fresh Spinach Dip and Crackers

• Ginger Ale with Lime Sherbert Punch

• Assorted Pickles/Olives

• Tofurky (don't laugh...they're great!)

• Stuffing

• Corn Pudding

• Mashed Potatoes with Gravy

• Browned Brussel Sprouts and Mushrooms

• Beet Carpacchio with Chevre

• Green Salad

• Potato/Sage Rolls

• Homemade cranberry sauce (Miranda makes this - oh yum!!!)

• Pumpkin Pie (see above) and Fresh Whipped Cream
