Can it possibly be that I never shared with you pictures of the gifts I received from some sweet and very dear friends during the Christmas holidays? It just very recently crossed my mind that maybe I didn't. I remember cropping the pictures but I'm embarrassed to admit, turns out that was as as far as I got. Sheesh...I sure hope I remembered to send out thank you cards! :-)
Christmas was definitely a little topsy turvy for us this year. So that made receiving each of these gifts so very special. So without further ado and with your kindest indulgence, I bring you Christmas in February...
First, there were several gifts from the lovely and talented Heather aka Jeweled Elegance.
The earrings are actually the prize from one of her lovely blog giveaways but the journal and bookmark were extra.
SO fab! Thank you SO MUCH Heather! :-)
In a separate package, Heather also sent me this lovely handmade bookmark...
Thanks again for all your kindness, Heather!
A very special gift came from sweet, sweet Cassondra. This absolutely glorious soldered hanging charm...
I should have put a penny in the picture so you can see the size of this. It's about 4 inches long! SO lovely! Thank you SO much Cassondra!!!
Then there was this lovely collection of goodies from Lori Anderson, who was my Secret Santa in a gift exchange I did with a group of jewelry artists I hang out with online. (They know jewelry is NOT my area of expertise!) :-) Thank you SO much Lori!
And then there were the GIFTS from Elise. She was very thoughtful and mindful with her gifts, which is typical of Elise. A very gifted artist and generous soul.
This book is beautiful. Elise mentioned that she contributed to the production of this book (I forget in what capacity) and so she knew the author and had him sign this copy for me. I am SO touched!!
Then there were the earrings Elise made. Just stunning. The stones in these are brilliant!
And then...sigh...the heart talisman. I LOVE this piece SO much!!! SO MUCH! Elise made it and every component is just incredible.
Everything Elise sent me is so special...even the piece of decorated canvas I've used as the backdrop for the earrings and talisman is gorgeous! I'm sure Elise made that. SUCH a talent! I'm so looking forward to hanging out with her at this year's Portland Art and Soul. Thank you SO much Elise!
Oh and speaking of Portland Art and Soul, classes will be posted on March 1. Yeee-haw...can't wait to start dreaming and planning!
Okay...that's it for now...I have several LOs to show you from the Circle Journal/Round Robin groups I'm in so I gots lots to show you over the weekend!
See ya and happy day to you!!!
Such lovely, thoughtful gifts. I can well imagine how much they touched your heart :)
