...and I'm ready to go!!! I am absolutely chompin' at the bit, READY to start working on my Silver Bella journal! I've promised myself I'd finish a couple of other projects I'm working on for Art and Soul first but it's gonna be SO hard! I'm SO thrilled with the ingredients of my Silver Bella journal and I wanted to share them with you! :-)
Before I get into that I wanted to tell you I'm so stoked that I have some EXCEPTIONAL music to listen to while I'm in my studio. I went to see Feist on Monday night. INCREDIBLE, as you would expect. What a voice and an awesome guitarist. The big surprise of the evening was the opening band. Grizzly Bear. I'd never heard of them before but now I completely love them! I mean, how can you NOT love a band that has an electric autoharp in it? I bought their Yellow House CD and it is PERFECT music to art to!
Okay, so back to crafting...I wanted to show you what the super creative and generous Wendy sent me. We did a Silver Bella inspired supply swap and oh man, what a treat to get some of her supplies!!! All of this gorgeous stuff is SO going into my journal! I sent some supplies, treats, and what nots off to Wendy yesterday and I just hope they make her smile as much as her stuff made me smile! Thank you SO much Wendy!!!
Check it out...
Everything is so....ME! Just fabulous foof-a-tastic stuff! Of course, the kit kat man was ALL over this stuff too! He LOVES paper craft supplies! Whoda thought?! :-)
So funny but I have to hide my supplies from Atticus! Anything dangly, shiny, glittery, or flowery he goes after! That just totally confirms our suspicions that Atticus is a dandy! :-)
Other ingredients for the journal...I have the Cotillion kit from Paper Bella...
Oh YEAH!!
Then there's my growing collection of glitter including the new German glass glitter I just bought from Splinters and Rags. AWESOME resource and so great to deal with!
Then there's the latest collection of sweetness from Jenni Bowlin...
There's also the assortment of goodies I've been setting aside just for this project including my new paper and ribbon from Lilli's beautiful Etsy shop.
Isn't this picture fabulous??? This is the stuff that makes me weep with joy. :-) I am fixin' to order me up some Moo cards and this image is SO gonna be one of those cards!
Okay so one last bit of fun...my friend Karly, who is currently working in Paris as an Au Par, sent me a French newspaper! Ooh la la!
Wow! What a collection you have there. I was drooling as I looked at all of your pictures. Can't wait to see what you make with all of those treasures.

Oh, a silver bella journal sounds like a good idea. What exactly will it be and are others making them? ( I am wondering if I missed something in the posts about it)
