Of course, I joined in Emily Falconbridge's Playing Card Art Journal party. I am SUCH a fan of hers! I bought this kit from her a little over a year ago so I was pretty excited to see that she was hosting a playing card art journal project. SUCH a fun format and medium!
So the plan is once a week Emily will present a prompt and we can interpret it however we want. Anything goes! The first prompt was "something you are proud of."
Well, if you know me, you know I am just tickled and so pleased that this point in my life, I am going to school for a degree. Started from scratch at age 46. It's just something I've ALWAYS wanted to do. Always dreamed of. And it finally dawned on me...I should do it!!! So what if it takes eight years? Eight years is going to pass anyways so what not be doing something?! Okay, so I was a little inspired by Fight Club. But it was just time to GO FOR IT! So that what I was thinking of when I made this week's card....
Cool! It looks so schoolish, with the chalk, green chalkboard background, lined paper. Good for you :)
