So I wanted to share with you my Design Team assignments for the Just Johanna Rubber Stamp company.
I'm pretty excited with the direction this Design Team gig has turned! Of course, I'm just over the moon happy in seeing some of my artwork turned into stamps (please don't wake me up, if I'm dreaming!) but I'm also thrilled because as I use Johanna's stamps to create my art journal pages, I can consider these my DT assignment! Dude!!! I was able to do that last month too but for some reason, it stressed me out. I realized it was because I was creating these pages just to send them away bye bye. If you've done any art journal work, you know that most of the time, that stuff isn't superficial. It comes from the well, baby! So anyways, with the recent acquisition of my Birthday/Christmas/Hannukah/Festivus/St. Swiggins Day present, I now have the means to make my own journals. Using unbound paper has somehow proved easy for me to create two journal pages at the same time, side by side. I send one to Johanna and keep one for myself! No stress involved!
Okay, I've blabbed enough...here we go...
One of my assignments was the card I made for my friend Lisa which I showed you earlier. Here are the others cards...
I experimented and did a collage this month....I LOVED doing this! I think I want/need to do much more of this work....
And here are the two art journal pages that have twins...
I promise I'll get better about listing the supplies I use. I'm still not very disciplined about that. I usually end up having to sit down in my studio with each piece and create a supply list after the fact. This month is no different! See ya later, my pretties!
LUv them all, Michelle! Johanna is so right on w/having you in her DT, coz' you are so full of talent! My favorite is the tomato one, Totally LUV that one!

Michelle, you are one talented gal! I love your stuff. When you let that imagination out, you are OUT! Love it, love it, love it, especially the tomato page. Or is it to-mah-to? hehe

Dear Michelle: I have just noticed and viewed ALL the pictures of your studio--the organization and arrangements, the textures, the COLORS, the possibilities!!! Pure joy! Don't think I have fully understood what is meant by the expression "a Feast for the Eyes" until now. Love
