I'd like to share a few more shots from this past weekend's trip to Vashon Island.
Here's a picture of Glen and I (taken by Glen) laying in a hammock.....
Specifically, this hammock....
A picture of Glen and Julia in front of their cabin. Isn't is fabulous??? THEY built it! Sure they had some help and a crane was involved but THEY did it! What a dream come true!
Yeah, their cabin is just as gorgeous on the inside as it is outside. It was SUCH a lovely visit. Julia even served us apple juice pressed from the apples on her property. THAT in itself was an amazing treat! Thank you again for a memorable day Julia!!!
Just a couple more pictures to share...this next one was taken about 6:00 pm with the sun just starting to settle down. That brilliant light in the distance is the Pacific Ocean where it meets the Columbia River at Astoria. I love this picture!
And then lastly, a shot you won't see on too many other blogs! Ladies and gentlemen...the remains of the demolished cooling tower at the old Trojan Nuclear Plant! The dome is where the nuclear reactor used to be. That was shipped off to Handord several years ago. Pretty cool, huh?
Love the pix of you and Glen. What a lovely cabin that is. Those pix are so gorgeous!
