I've got quite a queue of things I want to show you! In the past, some of my posts have been kind of rambling and so in effort to appear more organized with my thoughts, I started what I'm calling a "blog log." This is just a running list of things I'd like to get around to posting. So far this has been working for me and helps me keep "likes with likes." So here are a few...likes!
This case! I likey I likey! And apparently Dave Weinstein didn't anymore! :-) I bought it at Value Village for $9.99! It is in serious need of a clean up but I think it's going to be well worth the effort. I just adore it! I'm going to use this baby to carry my tools and supplies for the classes I'm taking at Art and Soul. After careful examination, Glen determined that the strap was an add-on because the hardware used for that is different than the latches, etc. I would have never have noticed that. He's so cool! :-) The day before I bought this case, I was at Value Village and almost bought a really neat-o keen-o wooden thread spool rack. But I couldn't decide where in the world I would hang it so I didn't get it. Well, you know how that goes. I couldn't stop thinking about it that whole night and then the next day realized, I actually needed this! So, back I went and thankfully, it was still there! And it was on this second day at Value Village when I found the case. So that was a good day!
.
Next up are these dear old timey bobby pins I bought at a cool second hand store in Portland called Rerun. I actually bought these several months ago but didn't get around to showing you! I just love these little sweethearts! This set me back all of $3.25!
Okay, that's enough candy for now kids! See ya later and don't forget to brush your teeth tonight! :-)
What a fabulous suitcase! I can't believe you got it so cheaply.
You make me want to go to Value Village soon, esp since I couldn't find a Michaels coupon in this week's paper :)

I really like the case formerly known as Dave Weinstein's case. I wonder if it belonged to Dave Weinstein the writer. Or if he's the same DW who said, and I quote, "In the beginning there was nothing. And God said, "Let there be light." And there was still nothing. But, you could see it."
