Who ME? Overly ambitious? Nah! Ya think? Well, okay, maybe just a little...
I have decided to try and make a baby blanket for my future great-niece. Is that what my nephew Ryan's daughter would be to me?
I was totally inspired by the ribbon garland that I recently made and thought of making a little flannel baby blanket and then adding some of the ribbon garland as fringe. Wouldn't that just be the sweetest?? Well, we'll see. I just get these visions in my head and I'd love to fina-frickin'-lee see something come to fruition!
So here is a picture of the fabric, ribbon, and thread I bought to make Baby Rylie Simone's blankey...
I'll post a picture with of the completed blanket WHEN I get it done. Notice how I use the word "when" and not "if?" I refuse to consider it an option to not get this project done! There! Now just try and tell me I'm not ambitious! Maybe a little nuts is more like it! :-)
OMG, love those ribbons, those are scrapbooking ribbons for me. Can't wait to see the blanket you will be making, that's a great idea about the ribbon. I would totally hang those as a decoration instead of the little baby using it, I'm so bad, huh?

We are truely kindred spirits. Yes to the overly ambitious, yes to the visions, yes to fruition...(sometimes not happening). And yes to the old windows. I have one standing at my back door. But my vision for it hasn't come to fruition.

Oh Shell, it is so loverly. I cannot wait to see the finished product!
I will wrap my granddaughter up in it all snug as a bug in a rug, and then I wil love her and squeeze her and kiss her!
