A while back I participated in an ephemera swap hosted by Kari aka Artsymama. I had SO much fun assembling the packets. The deal was that each participant sent in to Kari five packs of ephemera and $5. Then Kari sent you back five packs from five different people. Pretty sweet! I received my packs about two weeks ago but with all the commotion that was going on in my life, I didn't post about it. The packs were all a high-quality, supremely exquisite assortment and I was NOT disappointed. Thank you so much Kari!!!
According to www.websters.com, there were some interesting definitions of ephemera. The one that applies to what I'm talking about here is "printed matter of passing interest." Although, I would suggest that in the circle I travel, the definition has expanded to also include vintage baubles and what nots. And shiny things. :-)
So, behold, my bounty:
Okay so like I said, I had SO much fun putting the ones that I sent to Kari together. In fact, it has spurred a whole new hobby for me. Ephemera Hunting! It also inspired me to create little mini-ephemera packs that I will be taking to the Art and Soul Retreat in Portland for swaps!
Here's a sneak peek.
So what do you think? Little 2 1/2" x 4" cuties! I'll dress them up just a touch more for Art and Soul. I would be happy to send you one if you'd like. Send me your address and I'll put one in the post with your name on it! E-mail is seester@mail.com. Keep in mind that products will vary so your pack WILL look different than this one! :-)
Enjoy your Tuesday! Love to you, wherever you are.
Oh Shell-Shell, I want one! Little mini see-thru bozo goody bags - It just doesn't get more hoo-hawey than that!
You know my address....
Love you!
