Did I show you this?
On one of my adventures to Goodwill, I picked up this jigsaw puzzle. Actually, it's not called a jigsaw. It's called an interlocking picture puzzle. Pretty cool, huh? I did a little web search and found that it's from the 50's.It's not a high value item but some people collect 'em so it was out there on eBay. We put it together and it's missing a piece! I put a piece of white paper behind the missing piece so you can see it. The pieces are extra thick (even says so on the box!) and since it wasn't a jigsaw, they went together weird. It was really fun though. Mainly because Glen, Miranda, and I all did it together. In my experience, doing a jigsaw or interlocking picture puzzle together always equals quality family time! I paid $1.99 for it and it took the three of us 1/2 hour to put it together. I'd say it was a good value for our entertainment. Cheaper than a movie anyways! :-)
My mom used to buy one of those beautiful big jigsaw puzzles (interlocking pictures :) every Christmas for a while. We'd start doing it on Christmas day and continue through the holidays until it was done. What I liked about it most was that it was a slow and rare family activity.

You know, I love doing puzzles w/my little nieces and nephews, they are so good at it. But sometimes I lose my patience!
