Even though it's Monday, today totally feels like Friday. I have tomorrow off AND I am taking Wednesday off as vacation. I'm so happy!!!
Looking forward to tomorrow. It will be the 5th annual 4th of July Neighborhood Block Party. For those of you who have made the trek to Oregon know the fun that will be had. Lots of good food and lots of fabulous neighborly comraderie. We live at the top of a large cul-de-sac and we have some WONDERFUL neighbors/friends. We wheel out barbecues, chairs, and the ping pong table and have a feast. Then about 9:30 or so, the fireworks begin! Tons of fun and lots of little kiddlies. And this year there are TWO new families to the neighborhood that will be joining us. Coolness!
So it is now tradition that I drink margaritas for 4th of July. I still laugh when I think of the 4th of July when Simone was here and we decided to make some margaritas. We bought the mix and tequila and were all set! It wasn't until we were mixing them up that we realized the mix ALREADY had tequila in it. Well, being the clever girls we are, we quickly made the decision to make double margaritas! Viva Jose Cuervo! That was a very good 4th of July!!! :-)
The snappies here are a couple more from the Mt. St. Helens trip this past Saturday. The one up top is me with Mt. St. Helens in the background.
Here's Glen with Mt. Adams in the background.
Hope you have a very nice Friday...er...Monday evening!
Hah, Friday! Wish it was! I love that pix of you w/that mountain on the background it shocked me actually, I said "Oh, Michelle is flying!!!" That sounds like a lot o fun that you are going to have tomorrow, make sure you takes pix and post on your blog. I don't know if we will be watching the fireworks coz' we always have a bad luck in not seeing the firework it's either too foggy (as always!) Have a Happy fourth of july!
