Howdy! For those of you playing the home version of Rhonna Farrer's {21 Day Challenge}, today is day eight! A full week of walking regularly. A full week of thinking about taking better care of myself and acting on it. A full week of being in control. That's SUCH a good feeling. I know from experience that the more I take care of myself, the stronger and more confident I become. It generates a fantastic sense of power that carries through to just about every aspect of my life!
Here is day eight's journal page:
Getting a more creative and feel like my pages are much more meaningful to me lately. Gaining some confidence in what I'm doing maybe? Had fun doing some layering with this page....and stapling! I LOVE that staples are now legitimate scrapbooking supplies!
Glen and I went for our walk before dinner tonight. We walked about 40 minutes and oh was it delicious! The the air was so fresh and sweet smelling! There were a lot of people out walking or just out front on their house. We even walked by a father and daughter sitting on the tailgate of their truck playing with yo-yo's. SO cute! And then to top it off, I saw I woman I know from work and she had a big, wonderful, friendly black lab so we got to hug her doggy. His name was Jazz and he was cute and cuddly! My friend's name is Linda...she's cute but not very cuddly...but that was okay! :-)
Tonight was first day of the spring term (History of Graphic Design...COOLNESS!!!) so I'm hopin' I can continue to get my pages done daily. I'm only taking one class but I also work full-time so my dance card tends to fill up real fast! I'm just having so much fun with this challenge that I have to be careful that I don't forego my studying to get my pages done! hehehe!
Enjoy your journey and see you tomorrow!
Wow michelle this is just gorgeous... I like it very much....
I'm a little bit behind... But i'm working on it... Today I will post my day 6...
