This week's topic for Tine's Studio Friday was suggested by Andrea. My Work Hands.
Great topic. It made me look at my hands. I use my hands everyday, as we all do. They work. They play. They feel. They hold. They are the receptors of so much love in my life. From my husband's hand, my daughter's cheek, our cat's warm, soft fur, etc. They get me through the day. I take them for granted and ask a lot of them. I probably don't treat them as well as I should. I don't do much to my nails. I crack my knuckles. I use moisturizer once in awhile but they've really got to need it. I do keep them very clean though (germ freak).
They are dependable, loyal...like good friends...always there for me. More like family. Guess I should treat them better. Give them more respect. Give them the attention they deserve.
"Hands, if you're not busy tomorrow morning, you want to go get a cup of coffee?" Just me and you. If the answer's yes, just give me a thumbs up!" :-)
Ahhh! The magic glass. It's right next to my desk. Floor to Ceiling. How magical it really is. Somtimes when I have artist block I'll stare into the glass and I become unblocked!
