happy mother's day!
Just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to you! I've had a lovely lovely weekend so far and I hope you have too!
I volunteered at CAT yesterday. It was their 10th anniversary. SO amazing and SO cool! Then last night Glen and I went to a fundraiser and we got to see some excellent speakers including this guy and this lady.
I got to talk to my Mommy this morning - Glen and I sang her the song we've been singing to her for at least 17 years or so. She was going to The National Steinbeck Center in Salinas with my sisters and niece today. Sure wish I could have been with them!!! Wah!
I did get to spend the day with my girlie though. Miranda doesn't have to work until tonight so she and I spent the afternoon doing one of our most favorite hobbies -- thrifting! I didn't find a whole lot but at the last Goodwill we went to, I found this assortment of books...
These are going to be perfect for Nina Bagley's Gathering class I signed up for at Art and Soul in October!

what a nice day - thrifting with your daughter! you got a nice score with the books. they will be perfect for Nina's class! so what is this song you and glen sing to your mom every year? that is so cute!

Happy Mother's day back atcha! Wandered thru rhododendron gardens in Eugene for Mother's day---with my girlies, parents & sweetie. Beautiful! P.S. lovely goodwill finds, flower photos & fun times w/your girlie!
