One of my on-line buddies and I noticed that while we each participated in the swap, we did not receive a pack from each other. I didn't know Sharon was participating because if I had, I would have been sneaky like I did with Lilli and made sure she got one of my plethora of ephemera packs! Anywho, we decided to do a mini-version of the swap with each other. Boy, was I glad we did! :-)
Lo and behold...my treats:
Such bounty! Yikey Schnikey! And not only were there beautiful little papers, tissues, beads, baubles, lace, pictures, postcards, etc., but there was PURE thoughtfulness and kindness tucked inside. Sharon remembered I loved a picture she posted on her blog on June 7 and sent me a copy of it! And then if that wasn't enough, she also picked up on an entry I made referring to "Earning My Wings in Heaven" and sent me all manner of winged objects...photos of butterflies, birds, and feathers! It was SO heart-warming! And it was also Sharon that reminded that my recent adventure with the Butterflies of Mt. Hood was probably serendipitous. I really needed to experience that and it happened that I was in the right place at the right time. Thank you Sharon. It truly lightened my burden.
And so if all this beautifulness wasn't enough, my eyes were subjected to this! A work of art beyond words! Wouldn't you LOVE to see a class teaching you how to do this at Art and Soul Retreat or Teesha's ArtFest? Oh. My. Goodness.
Utterly gorgeous Sharon!!! Thank you so much for the ephemera and the friendship!
Okay, I'd better go now. I think I've used up a week's worth of exclamation marks with this post!!!!! :-)
